Meyer Hatchery Welcomes Lisa Steele

In any realm of backyard chicken keeping, the name and wisdom of Lisa Steele has most likely been shared.  Lisa is the creator of Fresh Eggs Daily, a blog and a Facebook page that has quickly grown to include multiple books such as:

Lisa has been around chickens and gardening for much of her life, and her passion lays with natural chicken keeping and working hard to bring back methods that had been used for generations, but mostly forgotten, and popularize them again with a new generation of chicken keepers. When not tending to her own flock on her farm in Maine, Lisa tends to her blog and Facebook following of over 70,000 fans.  Fresh Eggs Daily has been featured as a top blog within the gardening/homesteading online world, including being named one of the Top 10 Gardening Blogs by Better Homes and Gardens Magazine. Lisa has also been featured on major TV networks, in national publications and even has her own quarterly television show with her local broadcaster.

Meyer Hatchery is proud to share Lisa’s passion for backyard chickens and has invited Lisa to visit us! Lisa Steele will be at Meyer Hatchery on September 24, 2018, for a book signing of all her current publications, as well as offering an exclusive pre-release of her newest book, 101 Chicken Hacks. There will be a limited number of copies of 101 Chicken Hacks for sale at the book signing and plenty of Lisa’s previously released titles available on signing day as well. You may bring your own copies of Lisa’s books to be signed or purchase them in our store. The book signing will take place at the Meyer Hatchery retail store, 626 State Route 89, Polk Ohio 44866 from 10am – 12pm and 2pm to 4pm ET.
