Calendar Photo Contest

Have you ever looked at one of your girls and thought, “Wow! Now, that’s a beautiful chicken. She should be on a calendar!” Well, now is your chance! Meyer Hatchery is hosting a calendar photo contest for our first-ever Meyer Hatchery Calendar!

Photographs can contain Meyer Hatchery’s poultry, their eggs, on your homesteads, and even chicken people! A variety of seasons is encouraged! Photographs must be high quality (check your phone and/or camera settings!)–300 dpi minimum and 3300 px x 2550 px in a horizontal orientation to be considered for the calendar. Submissions will be accepted from May 19, 2023 through June 9, 2023 via our Google form. You can submit multiple photos. Please note that entries for the photo contest must be free of any filters that would negatively affect print quality. We are looking for authentic submissions that showcase the true beauty of Meyer Hatchery poultry, their eggs, and them on your homesteads. 

How to Enter

Entries will be accepted via our Google form. You can submit multiple entries. Be sure your files are named with your full name for example – “henriettasmith_farmeggs”.

Photograph Requirements

Photos must be at least 300 dpi and 3300 px x 2550 px and horizontal orientation.

Prizes

We will have 12 Grand Prize winners whose photos will be featured in the Meyer Hatchery 2024 Calendar and will receive a $100 Meyer Hatchery Gift Certificate and a free copy of the calendar. Your name and social channel or website of choice will also be attributed to each month in print. 

Any photos that are used on our website will receive Meyer Hatchery swag!

– May 19th through June 9th, 2023

– July: Winners will be announced via newsletter, website and social media.

CALENDAR PHOTO CONTEST

Submitting a photograph, or multiple is open to residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. There is no age restriction for submitting photos, and the contest is open to all Meyer Hatchery employees and their families. Meyer Hatchery reserves the right to choose the final photographs that are to be used in the 2024 Meyer Hatchery calendar. Photo credit will be given to any photographs used in the calendar or website by including their name on or near the photograph. All photographs submitted to the contest become the property of Meyer Hatchery and can be used on any of our social media platforms, newsletter, website, or any other digital or print material.
