The Ohio National Poultry Show
We have exciting news! Meyer Hatchery is proudly sponsoring The Ohio National Poultry Show again this year! This year’s show is November 12-13, 2022 at the Voinovich Center at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. Meyer Hatchery will have the latest and newest products for sale at our display booth. Stop by and see us!
Meyer Hatchery sponsors several of the trophies for the Ohio National Youth Show each year. Since we are one of the top hatcheries in the United States with a wide variety of breeds, we are honored to help many hundreds of youth poultry showmen each year in obtaining their stock for showing, breeding, and everyday backyard flocks. We also love to chat about all types of poultry, and we are available to answer any and all questions that you may have.
Why attend the Ohio National? Well, if you are even a little bit interested in poultry, it’s really neat just to see that many birds exhibited together in a single location. The Ohio National Poultry show is the largest youth show in the country, and also draws a very large number of adult exhibitors from across the nation. Attending the National and walking the show aisles is a great way to see what the “ideal” show specimen looks like for a breed you may be considering. Also, if you are looking for some hard-to-find breeds, there is a trade area where many breeders bring extra animals to sell. But get there early if you are looking for a rare breed as things move quickly in the sale area.
In addition to sponsoring several of the Youth Show trophies, Meyer Hatchery is also a headline sponsor for the entire show. We set up our booth on the main show floor each year. So stop by, chat with our amazing staff, and see many of the newest products that we carry for you and your flock. See you in November!
