The Ohio National Poultry Show; November 11-12 in Columbus, OH
We have exciting news! Meyer Hatchery is proudly sponsoring The Ohio National Poultry Show again this year! This year’s show is November 11-12, 2017 at the Voinovich Center at the Ohio State Fairgrounds and Meyer Hatchery will have the latest and newest products for sale at our display booth. Stop by and see us! Rumor has it that the 2018 Meyer Hatchery catalog will make its debut at this year’s National and you can pick up your copy!
Last year Meyer Hatchery sponsored several of the trophies for the Ohio National Youth Show, and we will once again sponsor the first through third place in each age category for the Youth Show for 2017. Since we are one of the top hatcheries in the United States with a wide variety of breeds, we are honored to help many hundreds of youth poultry showmen each year in obtaining their stock for showing, breeding, and everyday backyard flocks. We also love to chat about all types of poultry, and we are available to answer any and all questions that you may have.
Why attend the Ohio National? Well, if you are even a little bit interested in poultry, it’s really neat just to see that many birds exhibited together in a single location. The Ohio National Poultry show is the largest youth show in the country, and also draws a very large number of adult exhibitors from across the nation. Attending the National and walking the show aisles is a great way to see what the “ideal” show specimen looks like for a breed you may be considering. Also, if you are looking for some hard-to-find breeds, there is a trade area where many breeders bring extra animals to sell. But get there early if you are looking for a rare breed as things move quickly in the sale area.
In addition to sponsoring several of the Youth Show trophies, Meyer Hatchery was also a headline sponsor for the entire show, and we will once again sponsor the show for 2017. We will have a booth on the main show floor, so stop by, chat with our amazing staff, and see many of the newest products that we carry for you and your flock. See you in November!
